Even though I know she hates the above pictures.. she deserves it ;) I also love singing T.Swift with you in the car and forcing you to go to a Jessica Simpson concert. Thank you for always being there for me when I'm being ridiculous and for always telling me what you think no matter how much I don't want to hear it.

I also love how we realized that we can't talk on messenger about serious things because we ALWAYS end up getting mad at each other because of how sarcastic we are to each other. Just think of all the memories we've had. We're so best friends, even when I pushed you down the stairs in your walker or sprayed Windex on your face because you were dirty ;) Thank goodness someone was watching me/us when we were little, ha.

Apparently, I while I was gone my sister decided to use my computer and Windows Live (which was connected to my name still) to communicate with her boyfriend and make it look like I was hot for him which I SO am not (No offense, Trenton, you just aren't my type ;) )

So. Don't I have the best/nicest/sweetest sister ever? I think not. I will get her back someday don't worry.

well, hello snow.

I woke up this morning hoping that all classes would be cancelled. I didn't find that to be the case, but all classes until noon were cancelled, meaning I got to skip out on 2 of my classes. This meant that I could go back to bed, which I was super happy about.. only I couldn't go back to sleep (mostly because of the pure excitment of cancelled classes) Then I took a shower, ate some lunch and went to help my roomie-cousin Chelsie try to get her car out for work. When we got out there we knew she wasn't going anywhere. I mean NOWHERE. There were 2 paths in the whole parking lot and no tracks from anyone trying to get out. We did see one person almost get stuck trying to get out, but he was close to the plowed section so he at least had a chance. I had no chance, and neither did she. Not that I was going anywhere anyway.

Since I had class at 2, I couldn't partake in the fun snow day activity of taking pictures and roaming around campus freezing, so I am going to steal some of Chelsie's pics. (Oh, and I FORGOT my camera at home and I am really upset about it :( )

So here is the parking lot (I guess when she took the picture a few people were able to get out, although I wouldn't have wanted to try!)

I saw something similar on Facebook and thought it was interesting. I'm going to list 25 random things about me and I'm supposed to tag people, but I don't feel like it.. so if you want to do it, do it!

1. I love Vanilla Bean Noel lotion from Bath & Body Works.

2. I also love B&BW Wallflowers: Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin (ok. I love anything B&BW!)

3. I probably couldn't live without chapstick.

please don't think i'm crazy

I'm the Maid of Honor for my friend Kelly's wedding. I went dress shopping with her on Saturday and it was so much fun! On the way there I asked her what she was looking for. She wanted something that had a lot of detail and a pickup type skirt. I couldn't really picture it, but I tried to remember so I could be on the lookout for something like that. We got to the first store, a very small shop, and the first dress that she sees is exactly like the description that she gave. She tried it on and loved it! That was the only one there that she tried on. We went to the next place because she had an appointment. I think she tried on at least 6 or 7 dresses. There were a few that looked really good and that she really liked, but they were out of her price range. So we left there and decided we should go try the one from the first store again. (It was also $300-$400 cheaper than the dresses at the second store) and I could tell that she loved it, and I loved it too. Her mom wasn't able to go with us so they went the next day to look at it and she ordered it. I was/am so excited for her. It's the perfect dress for her. I haven't uploaded my pictures and I decided I'm not going to put them on here because it's supposed to be a surprise right?

But anyway.. that part of the store isn't why you will think I'm crazy. There was this dress on the end of a rack that I saw that was in my size (which is wierd because there usually aren't very many dresses in my size) and I thought it was SO beautiful. I really wanted to try it on but I decided not to because you know.. I don't even have a boyfriend and that might be a little wierd. But now I'm completely obsessed with it. I even looked it up online and since I didn't know the name of the dress, only the designer I had to sort through tons of pictures to find it. This is where you might think I'm crazy. Hello? She doesn't have a boyfriend, let alone a fiance, why is she picking out wedding dressess? I really don't know the answer to that myself, but it gets so exciting and ever girl dreams of her wedding right? Well I've never really been one of those until now. I'm sure since I like it so much it won't look good on me lol.. but here it is. I think it's beautiful and I love it. The funny thing is.. on the website it has bride testimonials. One of the brides that chose this dress said that she saw it 2 years before she was married and that it had always been in the back of her mind. Is that some sort of coincidence? If I get married 2 years from now, remember this ok.... Anyway..that's all I'm going to say..

:) This was in 2006 according to the file name. (ignore the date.. I was always in a hurry and never set it) Grandpa volunteered at the Children's Museum and always got invited for a Christmas thing. This is my little brother (he looks so little and cute) and my grandpa on some bike thingy there. I went with him a few years in a row. It was always fun. I think my favorite exhibit was the year they had Norman Rockwell. It's just such a neat place and I'll always think of him when I go/hear/think about the Children's Museum.

roomies

college weekend

I stayed at college this weekend. It was pretty fun, except for Friday night when my emotions got the best of me, but that's ok right? Everyone needs a good cry.. haha.. Anyway.. before my little cry I went to Cheeseburger in Paradise with my friend Kelly and my sister, and had a Lady of the Sea.. mmm.. you have to try it I'm telling you. It's a pina colada and strawberry daquiri layered. It's expensive, like $6.50, but it's so worth it. I wish I could find a picture but they don't have one..

Saturday I woke up at umm.. 10:30.. oops.. I totally wasn't planning on sleeping that late, it just kind of happened. The funny thing is, I actually went to bed semi early.. Anyway.. I was very well rested and it was nice. I got up, took a shower, and went to lunch with Kelly, then I came back to my room and started on some homework, then left for my friend Lacy's party about 4:00. I had a lot of fun, she had a hayride and a nice fire, which I have pictures of below, oh and this is my friend Lacy.. I had to crop out our sweatshirts (and when I took the picture.. i accidently cut off part of our head..oops..) to protect our identity ha.. then I went to bed at approximately 1:30am.. and woke up at 8:30, then I cam back here and did laundry, becuase I had NO clean clothes anywhere, went to lunch with my sister and her boyfriend, and then came back and worked on homework. I got so much done in an hour. I still have a lot to go, but I feel better knowing that I at least got some of it done!

I know it doesn't sound like a fun weekend, but it was, just the right amount of fun and I had the opportunity to get caught up on sleep and homework.

And this is totally random, but I want to have a party, and I want to try these recipes because I'm in a fall kind of mood.

I just got off of the phone with an amazing person! I sent the owner of a local restaurant "Almost Home" an e-mail to see if I could ask her a few questions, she wrote me back and gave me her cell phone number. I just called her and she is one of the coolest people I have every talked to, I think we could be BFFs! Not even kidding. She is so much like me and I'm so excited that I had a chance to talk with her. She gave me some really good information to use for my business plan and she also said that she would be willing to show me around her restaurant and even let me "get my hands dirty" if I wanted. She seems so helpful and willing to talk. Even though I am wanting to create a catering business myself (for a school project and potentially in real life a LONG time from now) she thought my idea for a reception hall was good and also said that putting it in an old barn or something (Marchelle :D ) would be a good idea. She said that something like that, out in the country would be very successful and thinks that it is a good idea and something that people will use. That really just got my hopes up and really excites me!

It was just really nice finding someone who would share their information with me and who I had a lot in common with, I only talked to her for half and hour so and I think that we could have talked for a long time, but I'm sure she is a busy lady. I'm just so excited that someone thinks my idea is good and that someone would take the time to help me out.
